What is a Cord?
A cord is the amount of wood that, when "racked and well stowed" (arranged so pieces are aligned, parallel, touching and compact), occupies a volume of 128 cubic feet.  A well-stacked woodpile should measure 4 feet (122 cm) high, 8 feet (244 cm) long, and 4 feet (122 cm) deep.
What is Green wood?

Green wood is wood that has been fresh cut from a live tree and is still full of sap, which is mostly water, containing a moisture content of over 50%.  It needs to be dried (seasoned) before burning.

What is Seasoned wood?

Seasoned wood is wood that has been cut and then left to cure so the sap evaporates out of the wood, making it dry enough to burn efficiently.

How many cords can be delivered at a time?

We can deliver up to three cords at one time.

How long does Green wood typically take to dry?

After being cut and split, wood usually takes 6-9 months to fully season, depending on where the wood is stored and other factors, such as exposure to rain and snow.

Do you have kiln dried wood?

Unfortunately we do not have kiln dried wood.

Do you cut trees, clear lots or purchase wood from residents?

We do not cut trees or clear lots.  Our tree length is purchased through various logging companies throughout the state.  We do not purchase wood from residents.

Can I pick up firewood directly from your wood yard?

Due to insurance purposes, we do not allow personal vehicles, such as pick up trucks or trailers into our wood yard.

What is your minimum delivery?
